Description
MatchMaker is a peer--to-peer network application. It allows your Embedded
Linux PDA to search for other users on the network running this application. Based
on your user profile and the profiles of other people on the network, MatchMaker
attempts to assess a 'match score.' A higher the score would, obviously, imply
a better match.
This will be GPL'd, just haven't had time to get it all official and stuff
Instructions
Instrutions will be added soon.

(8.19 kB, 19Oct2003)ChangeLog
- 1 Oct 2002 - Process ifconfig for network information, probably a selection box to select network device to use
- 1 Sept 2002 - Another page or so of questions, like survey type stuff to help determine match score.
- 28 Aug 2002 1950 - Put some simple scripting in to take care of files
- 28 Aug 2002 1730 - Just put the page up. Since i did the project up till
this point in a 4-day crash course in C++, qtopia, and peer-to-peer networking,
I don't really have any changes to log.
ToDo in no particular order
- I added functionality for future image swapping, but didn't fully implement it yet.
- Actually have some sort of scoring, imlement the scoring function
- Enable filtering and/or sorting of results
- Change Configuration retreival to grab from the fields instead of from the Config file, config file seems to update slowly
- Enable an active subnet scan, maybe. may not implement at all.
- implement Chat utility
- Attempt to extract from ping source how to send/receive icmp packets without calling ping
- Perhaps a web database of profiles to submit to and download from, etc.
